La rotonde ferroviaire : perspectives croisées

rotonde Chambéry

The railway roundhouse is a true testimony to the industrial heritage of Chambéry, particularly through its monumental metal architecture inspired by the principles of Gustave Eiffel.
Chambéry's art and history department has endeavoured to pay it a certain tribute, by offering a different and plural vision of the monument.  The plans and drawings produced at the beginning of the 20th century by its designers are displayed alongside six contemporary interpretations, each offering a different encounter with this very special work.
